Work with Explorer tabs

A separate Explorer tab lets you keep a location and its working state ready in the center of Phials. Each Explorer tab owns its current folder, Back and Forward history, selection, and file view, so two tabs can show the same location with different tasks in progress.

Use these articles to manage an Explorer tab’s lifecycle:

• Open and switch Explorer tabs to create tabs, move among them, and understand their independent state.
• Protect an Explorer tab with pinning when Navigator actions should not replace that tab’s location.
• Duplicate an Explorer tab to copy useful browsing and view state into a new, independent tab.
• Close tabs and restore your session to control what remains open now and after a restart.
