Terminal

The integrated terminal runs shell sessions inside Phials — for example in the bottom panel. You can open more than one terminal session in a single terminal panel, and add more than one terminal panel to your layout. See Arranging Panels for panel placement.

Font family

Choose the monospace font used for terminal text:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Under Plugins, open Built-in (or Panels, depending on your layout).
  3. Select Terminal.
  4. Pick Font Family from the list.

Phials loads fonts from your system. While fonts are loading, the control is disabled and you may see “loading fonts…”. When loading finishes, the description shows how many fonts are available.

Your choice applies to every terminal panel and session. Phials saves it automatically.
